Website Template License
Version 28 August 2026.
1. Organization license
Each claimed or purchased official template license belongs to the Organization for which it is activated. It is not licensed to one Portal and is not consumed when selected. The Organization may use the template simultaneously for all Portals that belong to it, including Portals added later.
The license is limited, non-exclusive, and permanently non-transferable after activation. Deleting a Portal, switching templates, or changing the Organization’s Portal allowance does not remove the license.
2. Activation and paid purchases
Payment creates an unactivated license and does not assign it to an Organization. Activation is a separate, intentional confirmation. Once activated, the template is permanently assigned to the selected Organization and the purchase is no longer normally eligible for a refund. This does not exclude a refund or other remedy required by mandatory applicable law.
A free claim creates a license without payment. Existing Organizations that received Aurelian during the template migration hold it under this same Organization-level model.
3. Included deployment modes and updates
The license includes Forgeport Hosted, Static Self-Hosted, and Forgeport-Integrated Self-Hosted use. It also includes future hosted and downloadable template updates without another template purchase.
Hosted template versions are not applied automatically. An administrator chooses a version in the Website draft, previews it, and publishes it intentionally. Updated Static and Forgeport-Integrated downloads remain available to the license owner through protected delivery.
4. Restrictions
You may modify the template for the licensed Organization’s Portals. You may not sell, sublicense, publish, share, redistribute, transfer, or make the template or source available to another person or unrelated Organization, whether modified or unchanged. You may not remove or falsify the license notice or use one Organization’s entitlement to operate websites for unrelated Organizations.
5. Forgeport services and account responsibility
Hosted and integrated features remain subject to the Terms of Service and the availability of the relevant Forgeport service or plan. A static build can remain self-hosted without a live content connection. The account holder is responsible for keeping activation codes and downloads secure and for actions taken by authorized Organization Owners and Administrators.
6. Breach and mandatory rights
We may suspend template access for a material breach of this license and require unauthorized copies to be deleted. A paid-up, properly used self-hosted license does not end merely because the Organization later changes its Forgeport subscription. Rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict are unaffected.
